Cold Weather Pairings

Is too much green tea ever a bad thing? Can you overdose on antioxidants? I sure hope not, because hot green tea has become my new favorite study buddy during these last few COLD weeks of the semester (also because Charu is vacationing in India, so I have no one to study with at the library).

Another cold weather must for me are my gloves. I got these faux leather gloves from Target at the end of last winter's season clearance at $1.50! They have been another life saver when I venture out into the cold.

I'll have to bundle up this Sunday when I go to the Meadowlands for the Eagles vs. Giants game!! It'll be my first time going to an NFL game, and it should be a great matchup too! Yay for cousins who make good money and love me enough to bring me along :)

Essay for tonight's class was finished on Sunday morning. Case study for tomorrow's class 75% done. Have to do some studying tonight - tomorrow for tomorrow evening's final, BUT it'll be my final final and then I will be one semester closer to being a MASTER...of the arts :P

Updates

Sorry for the late update about my 5K run! I've been busy with the last few items I need to complete before the end of the semester. BUT the run went well. I accomplished my humble goals of actually finishing the whole thing, not finishing last, and finishing under an hour! It was challenging, especially with the cold weather, and my muscles were sore for 2 days, but it was definitely well worth it and I have a sense of accomplishment for having participated in the run! Plus, I was able to well exceed my fundraising goal and somehow managed to raise a whopping $535 for the arthritis foundation! Thanks for all of your encouragement and love friends :)

In other news, with Christmas fast approaching, I've been taking any free time I have to shop for presents. My new favorite companion is Amazon.com and their free shipping eligibility. I still have no idea what to buy my mother for christmas though...but in the process of my search, I happen to come across these shoes:

I don't really know how I'd be able to walk in them, considering usually when I walk in heels I look awkward and unbalanced, but they're pretty. And would also be the perfect accessory for an outfit that I am planning if my 25th in AC works out...

Anyway, should get back to more studying. I only have one case study and one final on Wednesday to complete and study for and then my first semester of graduate school will be complete! :)
