My interview last week at TCNJ went well. We were told that the final decisions would be made by last Friday. Unfortunately, I have to wait 3 weeks to receive the decision in the mail. I have another interview coming up though. This one is a telephone interview with Rutgers! I'm excited and nervous for this one since RU is my top choice!
I will know the final decisions from most of the programs by the end of March/early April, so I'm just hoping some of them will be acceptances.
Last night I cooked Coconut chicken curry with Jeremy for dinner, which was delicious (thank you Pascale for the recipe). I'd like to try cooking a lot of new recipes, so if you have any please send them my way :)
Speaking of recipes, I watched that movie Julie & Julia, the other day and it made me want to start a blog about cooking...or just eat all the food that was cooked in that movie.
I am in the process of sketching ideas for a painting (or two) that I want to make for Jeremy, but am slightly stuck in a rut. Basically, I am trying to paint an analemma (that word sounds dirty...) that looks like this:
and I'll let wikipedia explain what an
analemma is. If I can paint something that looks even slightly as fascinating as this, it would be a great accomplishment.
I need to brush up on my painting skills (no pun intended).
Other than that, I've also started bike riding again, which is really fun to do in the early morning when the air is really refreshing and most of the streets/pathways are empty.
The combination of painting, bike riding, and learning new recipes will hopefully keep my recent positive mood a lasting one. :)
