Halloween

Happy Halloween!

This year I dressed up as a Devil and my accessories were made for 5 - 8 year old girls. Awesome.

A few things I learned:

- fake eyelashes are challenging to put on correctly

- red lipstick looks good on me

- extra glue/double-sided tape should be used when placing devil horns on one's forehead

- tights/stockings are necessary for freezing October evenings

Laura and her roomies had a fun party on Friday! And I got to spend all of Saturday with my best friends and boyfriend - watching the rally, playing Scrabble, cooking up treats, and eating Thai food for dinner.

Overall great weekend! Unfortunately I have so much work to get done for classes...I guess it'll keep me busy as I wait for the trick-or-treaters to start arriving...

Sing a Song

I have a lot of chapters to read, projects to work on, and research to be done. All I feel like doing today is singing. Or attempting to sing along to Disney, Glee, Rocky Horror, oldies songs.

I wish I still played the piano. I was never really that great at it, but it would be fun to sing songs and play the music on my own. I also wish I could play guitar for the same purposes.

I'd like to work on my voice. Maybe I can find some time next semester to get vocal lessons...
