2010

Apologies go out to those that I've caused worry and stress to with my unending blog entries.

My best friend suggested that when making new years resolutions, one should write them down. I spent a good 20 minutes earlier this week to do that and think about reasonable things that I want and would be able to accomplish for myself this year.

A few of the more important ones are: 1.) Be a kinder, more considerate person (including to myself) and 2.) Put aside a few hours a week to do something I honestly, truly enjoy like painting or reading, that I haven't done in forever.

2009, minus about 3 months, was probably the most difficult year of my life, but 2010 brings a clean slate and a fresh start and hope.

This year has already been great so far. I started off the year wonderfully surrounded by GREAT friends and my loving boyfriend, have been busy focusing on graduate school applications with a lot of hopefulness, have been spending fun times with my favorite little cousins, have been spending time with my boyfriend and falling more in love with him each day, and my parents are coming around and starting to give me more freedom. I've also been doing more babysitting, and looking harder for more full-time jobs in a greater spectrum of fields, as well as eating healthier and working in more time for exercise.

It feels great to be able to list so many things I can already be proud of for the New Year. And it also feels great to say that though there may be a few bumps in the road, I know I'll be able to handle them and overcome them as well. Hope is a good thing to have.

It's just emotion..

I hate being an overly emotional girl. I guess it is better than being an emotionless boy. I just hate the fact that my emotions are all over the place. One minute I am happy and everything seems perfect, yet the next minute I am sad and everything seems terrible. And I'm pretty sure that not all of this can be blamed on PMS or sudden symptoms of bi-polar. I just hate how it's so easy for me to fall into sadness when it takes 100 times the effort to be happy.

Well, old habits die hard, but I'm determined to keep myself out of the sad and stick to the happy.

As usual, this entry may not make any sense for I am sleep-deprived, sore from strenuous workouts, bloated & crampy, and food-deprived as well. Maybe some hot tea and good tunes will relax me...

Random re-occurring thought of the day: I miss my best friends.
