This week is going to be a great one.
Good: babysitting Lily (that girl is just too adorable and makes me laugh non-stop), starting up volunteer work (yay! I got accepted to be a volunteer tutor for an afterschool program in New Bruns), Jeremy and I have been together for 53 months (as of Monday!), I'm going to be working with Tracy Thursday and Friday (YAY!! Getting paid to do things I do normally - aka party stuff and things I'm good at - data entry/filing since i'm a hurricane-fast typer and organized AND spending time with the best friend?! AWESOME!), completing more summer job apps & teacher certification program apps. Productivity seems to be my theme this week.
Bad: babysitting Lily (makes me want to have a child...or the ten that I wanted originally, lol), not getting to see Jeremy much (with busy schedules), summer job apps (I got a headache from looking through so many job opportunities!), and some of the requirements about teaching certification ( I'm really confused about whether or not there's some test I need to take before I get admitted - the PRAXIS II or I or something? anyone know anything about these tests? I emailed some of the counselors/advisors but have yet to receive information about it), my right big toe was swollen from Saturday - Monday and I was walking with a limp (at least it started feeling better post-medication & hours of icing it :( ).
And I'm excited to go to Jersey Gardens with Alyssa tomorrow and possible lunch date with Katie too! Yay! :)
I'm in a great mood this week and hope that it only gets better.
36 days 'til I leave for my family vacation in the Philippines ( I will be there April 29 - May 27!)
Wow, I am jealous of your productivity, and that is so exciting about your trip!
ReplyDeletewow productivity makes me happy too! i'm happy for you! :D
ReplyDeleteYay I'm so excited for this week too!! I hope you're aware this was all really just a ploy to get you to live with me...
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Your week sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see you on Sat!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure you don't need to take PRAXIS I in most states, but some undergrad edu programs make undergrads take it to be formally accepted into the major (my roomie had to do that). PRAXIS II is the one you need im pretty sure....here's the ETS site for it that explains some more:

My old roomie said she thinks you wait til you're accepted to the program to take PRAXIS II
